I appeared alongside my colleague Natalia Jiménez on La Sexta’s programme ¿Qué me pasa Doctor? to explain how we approach psoriasis.
We now know that psoriasis is much more than a skin disease, as it may be associated with other conditions, including cardiovascular disease, metabolic syndrome, fatty liver disease and psoriatic arthritis.
For this reason, we take a comprehensive approach to psoriasis, aimed at treating the skin lesions while also identifying, preventing and managing conditions that may be associated with the disease.
